Dallas Day!

6/18/22

Today we were able to get outside and spend time socially-distanced on bikes while exploring the city of Dallas. We rode a 22 mile loop on beautiful bike/ped trails around the reservoir and through neighborhood trails leading to the downtown area.

Despite the 100 degree weather, the trails were busy with a Saturday morning crew of hardcore cyclists, casual riders, runners, dog walkers, and everyone in between. Luckily enough, our ride fell on a Saturday and we were able to explore the Dallas farmer's market, where I ate some smoked mac and cheese and the team shared ginger beer.

The heat definitely caught up to me towards the end of the day, but it felt great to get back on the bike and explore a new city!
