Bloobs!

June 4, 2022

Today's ride was a lovely, little 40-miler, which provided everyone plenty of time to stop and smell the roses. At lunch, we found ourselves weaving through the rows at Oak Hill Produce's u-pick blueberry farm just off the road.

3 gallons of blueberries were collected (or bloobs, as they are now affectionately being called), and many more went straight to our mouths, never to enjoy a moment off the premises. We also met two lovely women who saw us featured on the local news the day before! We had a wonderful conversation, and they ended up generously donating to Bike & Build.

I've never picked blueberries before today, and I would have to say it was a 10/10 experience. Just look at the bliss that Devon is in.

Emma even got a drone shot of the entire farm. Usually we are just Bike & Build, but today we were Bike, Build, and Bloobs. I could have spent hours in that field with my friends, and I would happily relive this day over and over again.
